St Andrew's Church, Winston, Co. Durham

St Andrew’s Church in Winston, County Durham, dates back to the 13th century and is a Grade I listed building. Restored in 1848 by renowned architect John Dobson, the church showcases a blend of Early English and Transitional Gothic architecture. Its distinctive features include a south-west tower, an octagonal belfry, and a nave with a south aisle, all set against the peaceful backdrop of the River Tees.

Through aerial footage and ground-level photography, I captured the church’s architectural beauty, from its iconic tower to the intricate stonework of the chancel and nave. The project highlights the historical and architectural significance of St Andrew's, preserving its legacy as a central part of the Winston village landscape
