Kepier Hospital, Durham

In my recent project, I captured the historic remains of Kepier Hospital near Durham through a combination of aerial footage and ground-level photography. Established in the 12th century as a medieval hospital by Bishop Flambard, Kepier Hospital is a remarkable site with a rich history tied to caring for the poor and sick. The aerial views provide a unique perspective on the remnants of the hospital's layout and its integration with the surrounding landscape, while the ground-level photos focus on the surviving architectural details, such as the stone arches and walls that have withstood the test of time. This project aims to preserve and highlight the significance of Kepier Hospital, showcasing its enduring legacy through detailed images and captivating aerial views.
