Escomb Saxon Church
In a recent project, I had the privilege of capturing the ancient beauty of Escomb Saxon Church, one of the oldest surviving Anglo-Saxon churches in England. Through a combination of aerial footage and ground-level photography, I aimed to showcase the church’s remarkable architecture and its serene setting. The aerial views offer a unique perspective of the church’s simple yet powerful structure, nestled within the picturesque countryside, highlighting its enduring presence through the centuries. On the ground, my photography captures the intricate stonework and the historical details that make Escomb Saxon Church a true architectural treasure. This project not only documents the physical beauty of the church but also seeks to convey its historical and spiritual significance, preserving its legacy through a visual narrative that honours its timeless place in history.
